Sitges Film Festival - 3a Jornada - 14/10/2013

A las 10:15h nos desayunamos en El Retiro con "Frankenstein Army". 

"En plena Segunda Guerra Mundial, una patrulla soviética llega a un edificio lleno de extrañas criaturas. Hombres electrificados, cabezas con cuerpo de muñeco y robots de lata; todo esto y más es obra de un tipo de doctor Frankenstein pasado por el filtro del horror nazi. Con una estética retro y una cámara inquieta, Richard *Raaphorst filma un brillante cruce entre cine bélico y una peli con 'mad doctor'."

No hay mucho más que añadir, hora y media de locura y trocitos de cuerpos. Algunos mejor cosidos que otros.

Por la tarde, después de comer, seguí con "AZOOMA". Un poco de FOCUS ÀSIA.

"A former dental technician, currently working as an insurance saleswoman, Yoon Young  manages to live with her 10-year-old daughter. One day, she finds out that her missing daughter has been raped on her way home from school. She reports to the police only to be disappointed by the inabilities and intrusiveness of the police. After going through consecutive failures of seizing the rapist mostly due to the indifferent and passive attitudes of the police, she changes her mind to chase after the rapist for herself with all kinds of measures that she can take. One by one, she takes severe revenges to the rapist."

Una historia dura con un final para pensar en la venganza, al estilo de "Les 7 jours du talion".
